Put your word-making skills to the test
For those who are fans of word games like Scrabble, then Letter Chain may well appeal.
The aim of Letter Chain is to score as many points as possible by forming words using the letters given to you on the screen. The only drawback is that the letters have to be next to each other so you can't just pick letters randomly - that would be way too easy!
Simply click on letters that are next to each other to create words. When you have created a word, press the Add Word button. If you get stuck, valid letters to click on are highlighted in green with invalid ones highlighted in red.
If you select a letter by mistake, deselect it by clicking on it again by pressing the backspace key or by pressing the left arrow key. You can unselect an entire word by pressing the escape (Esc) key. The game is made a little bit more interesting by the fact that rainbow shaded tiles change letters every 30 seconds. A tile with a swirl on it has a may or may not disappear every 5 seconds to add to the suspense.
Letter Chain isn't quite Scrabble but for anyone addicted to word games, it should provide at least a few hours of fun.
